For those of us involved in FIMCM this century, it is an honor to work with Dr. Cecilia Paredes, Dr. Carlos Monsalve and Dr. Paola Romero in the construction of ESPOL of the Future. The challenges that arise require us all to work as a team, faculty, students, administrative and service staff. Our work must be aimed, not only at fulfilling ESPOL's current mission, but also at going one step further, so that our actions become a true service to society, which implies that through our careers, research, engagement, and management, we contribute to improve the quality of life of our fellow citizens. I invite all of us at FIMCM to embark on this new journey.
