On this occasion, we talked with naval engineer Walter Arias, alumni of our faculty, who is currently developing his professional career in Malta, a country with a strong maritime tradition and one of the largest fleets of ships in the world.

Students of Higher Technology in Port Logistics perform community internships in El Morro

The students of the first cohort of the Higher Technology in Port Logistics program have begun their community service internships as part of the Raíces Marinas: Culture and Sustainability in El Morro project.

As part of this initiative, the students are conducting training sessions for residents on how to care for the environment of El Morro Port and the conservation of the dock, a key space for the community. In addition, they will develop a proposal for the improvement and treatment of waste in the fishing port, including:
